Attended an interesting presentation last night about the crash of a T-33 trainer on the former Fairmont golf course. Many people in the audience had first hand recollections of the event even though it happened 63 years ago. It was great to see a number of family members present. The Hamilton Road Seniors Center was packed and the program was well run and organized. A nice tribute to the two military pilots that were killed in the crash. Some kind of memorial plaque commemorating the event seems to be in the works.
