I am not sure about everyone else but isn’t it fun to see the Professionals playing on a tree lined golf course? I know the word “tree” has become somewhat of a dirty word in golf and it certainly is easier to grow grass without them around. Trees are one of the best hazards on golf courses both for their beauty and their indiscriminate nature toward whoever decides to venture near them. Great shots are being rewarded in Mexico and double bogeys on seemingly easy holes are happening with regularity. A famous golfer once remarked “I never did see a great player from the trees”.
