London and Area Golf History September 5, 2017

25 years ago today on September 5, 1992, River Road Golf Course opened its doors to City of London golfers. River Road was built and paid for with money generated by golfers at the other two City golf courses, Thames Valley and Fanshawe. Tax money was never used for construction of the course or its clubhouse. It truly belongs to the golfers of London and it is a great success story. Happy anniversary River Road and thank you to City of London golf supporters.
